‘Chooks, chainsaws and crayfish…. a country music odyssey!’
In a rollicking piece of musical theatre we take a one and a half hour journey through the life of Tasmanian countrywoman Dora Carney as she battles bushfires, police, grasping councils and a water tank that’s too small and always empty while raising her six kids. Written by Steve Thomas with music by Mick Thomas (Weddings, Parties, Anything) Staring Luke Elliot, Anthea Davis and The Clip Clop Club’s Gary Adams. The Tank has captivated audiences throughout Tasmania, Western Australia, The National Folk Festival in Canberra, The Port Fairy Folk Festival and the Brunswick Festival.
