The water washed across the land with power and force in 2007. In this exhibition local artists respond to the floods that wreaked havoc across Gippsland. Flooded In examines how artists have reconciled the devastating effects and powerful forces of nature on the land and in our community. Featuring photography, textiles, watercolour and oil painting, these works are diverse in the artistic media used and in approach; from the beautifully documented aerial photography of AC Warren Derwent, to the conceptually driven felted-sandbag of Susan Hall.
