David Bridie and band with special guest Hein Arumisore. ARIA award winning songwriter and composer David Bridie has enjoyed a distinguished career as one of Australia’s most innovative artists. Renowned as a solo artist, and for his bands “Not Drowning, Waving” and “My Friend the Chocolate Cake”, his passion for music is matched by his political conscience. For this special performance at the Water Water Festival, David will be joined by talented singers and dancers from West Papua including Hein Arumisore. Accompanied by evocative visuals and aural soundscapes, this glimpse of traditional and contemporary Melanesian life captures a true senseof place in a celebration of song and dance.
